Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Strong Georgia coalition, presented the candidate list for the Adjara Supreme Council elections in Batumi on Sunday.
The top ten candidates include Geno Tebidze, Vazha Darchia, Roland Shavadze, Besik Shainidze, Raul Paksadze, Aza Gabunia, Davit Mamuladze, Ivane Gogolashvili, Natia Kharati, and Jambul Sharabidze.
Khazaradze emphasized the coalition’s goal of defeating Russian influence in Georgia, outlining an ambitious plan that includes creating 200,000 jobs, increasing pensions to 1,000 GEL, and reducing Russian political interference.
He said the key part of the coalition is the country’s rapid integration into the European Union, alongside major infrastructure projects such as the development of Anaklia Port, Anaklia City, and other large-scale initiatives that aim to accelerate Georgia’s economic growth.
“Batumi and the Adjara region are our top priority because we see tremendous potential here. At the same time, we witness the negative actions taken by the current ruling party, Georgian Dream. Therefore, I reiterate, that the most important thing we must do is replace the government with new, healthy, and professional individuals who have significant experience in their fields but have never been part of the corrupt political system. I am truly proud to present this outstanding team today,” Khazaradze stated.
