Moderna COVID-19 vaccine available in UK in April

The first batches of Moderna's COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine will appear in the UK in April, and the population will be vaccinated with this drug, writes The Guardian.
In total, Britain has ordered 17 million doses of Moderna vaccine, and the first doses are expected as early as next month, Oliver Dowden, Minister for Digital Culture, Media and Sports, confirmed. He did not specify exactly how many doses will arrive, but we are talking about hundreds of thousands, the news_copypaper notes.
He also noted that the British government is confident that the population over 50 will be vaccinated by April 15, and all the remaining adults by the end of July.
The British authorities granted approval for the use of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in the country in January. This is the third coronavirus vaccine approved by the UK authorities. At the end of 2020, the country approved the emergency use of the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech, as well as the drug from AstraZeneca.
