My Voice for Europe local movement spokesperson Londa Tholoraia on Monday announced the completion of observer registration for the upcoming October 26 parliamentary elections in Georgia.
The movement has registered 4,200 observers, with 1,800 set to actively monitor the elections on October 26.
“Our observers and mobile teams will monitor the elections in all constituencies,” Tholoraia said. “We are coordinating with local monitoring organizations to ensure that each voter’s vote is protected. My Voice for Europe will on Friday present the pre-election environment assessment report.”
According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), 3,111 polling stations will be available, including 3,044 within Georgia. Tholoraia also highlighted concerns about the alleged illegal collection and use of voters’ personal data by the ruling party, alleging that state agencies have facilitated access to sensitive information.
“It appears that voter data is being transferred to the ruling party by state agencies to manage voters more effectively,” she added.
