Protest organizers have announced demonstrations across Georgia to be held on December 4 at 3:00 PM outside police stations in district centers nationwide.
The movement aims to hold police accountable for their actions amidst ongoing political and social unrest. The statement released by organizers called on law enforcement officers to honor their oath to protect the public and defend the Constitution.
“We are addressing the police officers who swore an oath before the nation, who should guarantee our safety, and whose families also need a European future just like the demonstrators,” reads the statement. The organizers directed sharp criticism at what they described as “mask-wearing, lawless enforcers of the oligarchic regime,” urging rank-and-file officers to oppose unconstitutional actions.
In Tbilisi, demonstrators plan to gather at the following locations:
1. Old Tbilisi Main Division – 27 Tabukashvili Street
2. Didube-Chughureti Main Division – 16 Akaki Tsereteli Avenue
3. Gldani-Nadzaladevi Main Division – 19B Guramishvili Avenue
4. Isani-Samgori Main Division – 1 Javakheti Street
5. Vake-Saburtalo Main Division – 68 Kostava Street / 2 Chikovani Street
Organizers are urging police officers to stand against unlawful actions and uphold their duty to protect citizens, calling for a collective stand against systemic abuses. The protests are part of a broader movement advocating for democratic reforms and EU integration.
