NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has arrived in Latvia, according to a statement shared by NATO Press Speaker Fara Dakhla on social media. During his visit, Rutte is scheduled to meet with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevich and Prime Minister Evika Silina to discuss key security issues.
Rutte will also visit the Ādaži military base, where he is expected to address NATO troops stationed there. His stop in Latvia follows a visit to Poland, where he met with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss regional security dynamics amid escalating tensions.
