Georgia has reported 1,530 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, while 24 individuals have died from the virus in the reported period.
17,711 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, including 11,033 antigen tests and 6,678 PCR tests, the government of Georgia reports.
The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in Georgia in February 2020 stands at 635 583.
As for the positive rate, as of October 10-the daily positive rate is 8.64%, for the last 14 days - 6.25%, for the last 7 days -7.60%.
In the last 24 hours, 1,848 people recovered from the virus. The total number of recovered since March 2020 stands at 602, 307, while 9,269 people died during the same period.
