Coronavirus in Georgia: daily cases at 4,534, 47,111 remain infected

Georgia has reported 4,534 new cases of coronavirus of 51,756 tests, 3,742 recoveries and 74 deaths in the past 24 hours. 


47,111 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of now.The country has confirmed 831,248 cases of coronavirus since February 2020, of which 772,301 patients have recovered, while 11,810 have died from the virus.


The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi - 1,811 cases 

Adjara - 176 cases 

Imereti - 829 cases

Kvemo Kartli - 265 cases 

Shida Kartli - 370 cases 

Guria - 143 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 356 cases 

Kakheti - 267 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 140 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 138 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 36 cases

 

6,574 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 39,371 others remain at home. 2,122,856 individuals have got at least one shot of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  986,877 have been fully vaccinated.
