Georgia has reported 3,278 new cases of coronavirus of 50,585 tests, 3,890 recoveries and 53 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

7.46% of tested people had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.40,299 remain infected with the virus in Georgia as of now.

The country has confirmed 898,079 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 844,875 have recovered and 12,879 have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

Tbilisi - 1,444 cases 

Adjara - 189 cases 

Imereti - 472 cases

Kvemo Kartli - 175 cases 

Shida Kartli - 286 cases 

Guria - 81 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 231 cases 

Kakheti - 188 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 86 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 103 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 23 cases

5,887 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while the majority of Covid-19 patients are at home due to a mild form of the virus or in Covid hotels. 

1,058,106 people  have been completely vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021.
