Zelensky warns Belarus citizens of Moscow's plans to draw them into war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Belarus citizens late on Sunday and warned them of the Kremlin’s plans to draw them into Russia’s war in Ukraine.

" I would like to separately address the citizens of Belarus today. Both civilians and the military. You are being drawn into the war. And even more actively than in February and in the spring months. The Kremlin has already decided everything for you – your lives are worth nothing to them," he said in a video address.

"But you are not slaves or cannon fodder. You do not have to die. And you can prevent anyone from deciding your fate,” Zelensky suggested.
