Russia no longer hides Georgia to be its next target - Ukrainian MP Arakhamia

Russia no longer hides its plans that Georgia will be its next target. The recent post of Dmitry Medvedev has confirmed this. However, Georgia’s pro-Russian government does not understand this, Ukrainian MP of Georgian origin, David Arakhamia, said on Tuesday, responding to the post by Russia’s former President that the Georgian state “was created” by Russia and that Russia’s plans were to restore the Soviet Union.

“The policies of Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili [the founder of the Georgian Dream ruling party, former PM], who continues to do business by circumventing sanctions, and the Georgian government, which plays along with the aggressor, will only lead to Georgia being next. And in Moscow they don't hide it anymore.

“Therefore, de-oligarchization should become the number one goal of the Georgian people. This is the only possibility to enter Europe and not to be found in the hands of the Russian aggressor," Arakhamia wrote.

The Georgian Dream Government has many times accused Arakhamia of being allied with the “radical United National Movement” opposition party, “which wants to drag Georgia into Russia’s war in Ukraine”.
