If Russia seizes part of Ukraine's territory, it may push other countries to change borders forcibly - former French president

If Russia seizes part of Ukraine's territory, it may push other countries to change their borders forcibly, former French President Francois Hollande said.

"If it gets at least one square kilometer compared to the pre-war situation, other countries will think that they also can gain territory in such a way," he said on Wednesday.

He stressed the victory of Ukraine would be a sign that authoritarian regimes will not succeed even with the use of force, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin “constantly tells lies”
