Kakha Kaladze, the secretary general of the ruling Georgian Dream party and Tbilisi mayor, who earlier played in Milan, on Monday expressed his “deepest condolences” over the death of Silvio Berlusconi, a controversial Italian politician and the country’s three-times prime minister.
In his Instagram post, Kaladze said by the death of Berlusconi at the age of 86, football and Italy had lost “a protagonist, a victorious man”, who he said had made it possible to lead Milan to conquer all the club titles.
“He made history in football. Thank you president! I offer my sincere condolences to the Berlusconi family”, Kaladze said.
Berlusconi died at a Milan hospital after recently being diagnosed with Leukemia.
