Irakli Karkashadze, Director of United Airports of Georgia, addressed the media on Wednesday, stating that no explosives were found on board the Wizz Air jet. 

The flight, originating from Kutaisi in western Georgia and destined for Barcelona, Spain, had to abort its landing earlier in the day.

In his statement, Karkashadze confirmed that the flight had been rescheduled for departure at 7 p.m. 

He further noted passengers had completed check-in and were awaiting departure in the lounge. 

"All previously delayed flights have been rescheduled and will resume gradually," he assured. He emphasized that the airport had resumed normal operations and was prepared to receive incoming aircraft. "No other flights experienced delays due to this incident," he added.
