Georgia reports 8,767 new cases of Covid

Georgia has reported 8,767 new Covid-19 cases of 56, 386 tests, 5,173 recoveries, and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

64,625 remain infected with coronavirus in Georgia as of now.

1,030,710 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 26, 2020, of which 951,428 patients have recovered and 14,631 have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

Tbilisi – 5,052 cases 

Adjara – 851 cases 

Imereti – 861 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 351 cases 

Shida Kartli – 538 cases 

Guria – 119 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 334 cases 

Kakheti – 277 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 176 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 165 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 43 cases

1,202,951 people have been fully vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021.
