Nika Gvaramia, leader of the opposition Coalition for Change, stated on Thursday that there are very few people left across Georgia who have anything positive to say about the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party. He emphasized that this reflects the party’s failed policies and highlights the need for new forces in the country’s political landscape.
“You won’t find people who will say anything good about Georgian Dream,” Gvaramia remarked, pointing to the growing distrust toward the ruling party.
He stressed the importance of bringing fresh perspectives and faces into Georgian politics.
“I’m not here to prove that I’m new. I’m here to prove that I will bring new people into politics. Behind me are new individuals with new visions. These people cannot be dishonest,” said the Coalition for Change leader.
He also noted that political discussions should focus not on individual figures, like Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze’s ‘delusions’ but on common goals for the country.
“I believe our coalition is unique,” he said, expressing hope that public will vote for the opposition.
