Aleksi Petriashvili, a member of the opposition Droa party, emphasized that no government threats or intimidation will prevent the people of Georgia from pursuing a change in leadership through elections.
He stated on Monday that citizens are resolute in their desire for change, which is expected to take place on October 26.
“Georgian citizens have made their decision. They want change on October 26, and no amount of obstruction, threats, or attempts to disrupt the campaign by the government or its small group of supporters will stop this process…The opposition remains firm in its stance that the will of the people will prevail despite any challenges from the ruling authorities,” the opposition member stressed.
