According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 32,801 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,919 tests with antigen tests and 11,882 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 1,030 new confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 292,244.
As for the positive rate, as of April 14, the daily rate of positive is 3.14%, for the last 14 days – 2.68%, and for 7 days – 2.82%.
In the last 24 hours, 706 people have recovered from the virus, and the total number of people who have recovered has increased to 279,389.
7 new deaths from coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,908 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 1,030 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 538 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 103, Imereti – 73, Kvemo Kartli – 63, Shida Kartli – 30, Guria – 24, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 119, Kakheti – 42, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 25, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 11, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 2.
Currently, there are 8,921 active cases of infection, of which: 2,616 people are treated in hospitals, including 1,294 in Tbilisi hospitals, 400 in Adjara, 359 in Imereti. At this stage, 446 people are seriously ill, including 213 in Tbilisi, Adjara. – 59, in Imereti -79. There are 76 people on artificial respiration, 51 of them in Tbilisi, 9 in Adjara, 8 in Imereti. 394 people are placed in clinical hotels, including 217 in Tbilisi and 163 in Adjara. 5,911 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in a residential apartment.
