PM Kobakhidze: Love will unite Georgia and create bright future

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, head of the election campaign of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, called on Georgians to stand together on October 26 and declare their commitment to peace, traditional values, and a bright European future for the country.

Speaking at the GD’s final campaign event in Tbilisi, he emphasized the importance of unity and dignity.

Kobakhidze stated, “Our electoral slogan is only with peace, dignity, and prosperity toward Europe,” highlighting the achievements of the Georgian Dream government, including peace, economic growth, and progress toward European integration.

He warned of the „dangers” posed by the opposition, citing their history of human rights abuses, war, and economic failure. He thanked GD founder and former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili for restoring the country’s dignity, saying, “Thank you for returning our dignity in 2012 and freeing us from the bloody regime.”

Looking ahead, Kobakhidze promised continued development, including new infrastructure, increased economic output, and better living standards. He urged voters to choose peace and prosperity over war and instability, saying that the GD is the only guarantee of continued progress.

“On October 26, we must all stand together and tell the world that Georgia chooses peace, traditional values, and a bright European future. We will rebuild what has been destroyed with love, unite Georgia with love, and create a bright future for a united and independent Georgia,” Kobakhidze declared.
