In exactly five months, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, together with Prime Minister, will announce local self-government elections, allowing everyone to test their own ratings in the elections, the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
When asked why the ruling party, Georgian Dream, does not call for snap elections despite being confident in its victory, Kobakhidze described the suggestion as foolish.
“Such foolish ideas come to the minds of politicians, but it is their right. It’s democracy in Georgia, and people have the right to have even foolish thoughts. As for the ratings, if anyone wants to test their rating, in exactly five months, President Mikheil Kavelashvili, together with me, will announce the local self-government elections, and everyone can test their own rating in those elections,” Kobakhidze stated.
