For the 62nd consecutive day, protests are ongoing in Tbilisi, as citizens demand new elections and the release of individuals detained during earlier demonstrations.
Protesters have gathered in front of the Parliament on Rustaveli Avenue, calling not only for fresh elections but also for the acceleration of negotiations for the country’s European integration.
One of the key demands of the demonstrators is the release of detained activists. According to the protesters, these individuals are being unjustly imprisoned for expressing their opinions and are being held as “political prisoners” by Bidzina Ivanishvili’s regime.
The protests show no signs of stopping, with participants vowing to continue until their demands are met.
