Protesters are set to gather in Tbilisi and multiple regional cities across Georgia today, as protests against halted EU integration until 2028 enters the 42nd day.
In the capital, demonstrators will convene near the Georgian Public Broadcaster at 19:00 local time, followed by a larger rally outside the Parliament building at 20:00.
Later in the evening, at 21:00, a public lecture is scheduled to take place near the Tbilisi Classical Gymnasium, by the monuments of prominent Georgian writers Akaki Tsereteli and Ilia Chavchavadze.
The protests, which have become a near-daily fixture in Georgian public life, have expanded well beyond the capital. Regional rallies are planned under various slogans that reflect widespread discontent with the government’s policies and direction.
Gori – Protesters will gather in front of the City Assembly at 17:00, under the slogan “Free the prisoners of the regime and call new elections.”
Akhaltsikhe – A rally will take place at 18:00 near the monument to Shota Rustaveli.
Batumi – Demonstrators will meet at 19:00 near the Constitutional Court with the slogan “In the service of the Motherland.”
Zugdidi – A protest titled “Against the Russian regime” is scheduled for 19:00 in front of the regional administration.
Telavi – A rally is planned at 19:00 in front of the city hall.
Kutaisi – Citizens will gather at 19:00 in front of city hall under the slogan “Yes to Europe, no to Russia.”
Chkhorotsku – A protest under the title “Dare to protest every day” will begin at 20:00 outside the city hall.
