Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, praised Mikheil Kavelashvili, the presidential candidate nominated by the ruling Georgian Dream party, emphasizing that he embodies Georgian values “not only in genetics, but also in spirit and heart.”
Mdinaradze reassured that Kavelashvili would serve Georgia’s national interests and not be influenced by external powers.
He described Kavelashvili as a “guarantee” that Georgia’s future president would focus solely on the country’s needs, free from the influence of foreign interests or international groups.
“He will serve his homeland based on his personal, Georgian qualities,” Mdinaradze affirmed, expressing full confidence that Kavelashvili would not stray from these principles. He concluded by stating he was “1000 percent sure” that these assurances would prove true, and he would never retract his support for the candidate.
