Russian forces have intensified their assault on Ukraine, launching a series of drone and missile attacks that have left significant damage in several cities. In Zaporozhye, local authorities reported that 29 private homes and gas pipelines were either destroyed or damaged, with at least two people injured as a result.
In Krivoy Rog, a five-story apartment building suffered damage, while an industrial facility on the outskirts of Nikolaev was struck by a rocket. Fortunately, officials in Nikolaev confirmed there were no casualties from this attack.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that overnight, Russian troops fired eight different types of missiles and deployed 62 drones. Ukrainian defense forces managed to intercept 41 of these unmanned aerial vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed it had destroyed 92 Ukrainian drones during the night, with specific numbers reported across various regions: 47 in Krasnodar, 12 in Kursk, 9 in Rostov, 4 in Bryansk, 2 each in Belgorod and Crimea, 1 in Voronezh, and 15 over the Sea of Azov.
