Russian drone attack on Dnipro kills four, injures 19

A Russian drone attack on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro late on March 28 killed four people and injured 19 others, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak.

The strike, which involved more than 20 drones, sparked fires in a hotel and restaurant complex, a high-rise apartment building, and nearly 10 private homes. Three of the injured remain in serious condition. The blaze in the hotel complex has been brought under control, authorities said.

Images shared online show plumes of smoke, shattered buildings, and debris-strewn streets, highlighting the extensive destruction caused by the attack.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s armed forces reported that they had destroyed military infrastructure at a Russian border checkpoint in Bryansk on March 27. According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the Pogar border checkpoint in the Sluchovsk region suffered heavy damage, including the destruction of communication systems, electronic warfare equipment, and surveillance cameras.

The strike reportedly resulted in 15 to 40 Russian casualties, but these claims have not been independently verified.
