Ziadin Mamedov, a military serviceman, tragically died at the Marneuli military base of the Georgian Ministry of Defense. The Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the Military Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident.
The investigation is being conducted under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code, which addresses incitement to suicide. The Ministry expressed its sorrow over the loss, offering condolences to Mamedov’s family.
“All necessary procedural and investigative actions are being carried out within the framework of the investigation,” the statement reads.
