Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Strong Georgia opposition coalition, on Thursday officially announced the party’s list of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections during an event held at the party’s central headquarters in Tbilisi.

The deadline for political parties to submit their candidate lists to the Central Election Commission (CEC) is September 26. The parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 26, will be conducted under a fully proportional system. Political parties that cross the 5% vote threshold will earn seats in the Georgian parliament.
This election is anticipated to be a significant milestone in Georgia’s political landscape as various opposition forces, including Strong Georgia, aim to challenge the ruling party’s dominance.
