Tbilisi Mayor Kaha Kaladze emphasized that no one has the right to deprive children of the joy brought by the festive, Christmas-decorated streets, beautiful Christmas tree, and celebrations.
“Tomorrow, the main Christmas tree will light up, and the festive days will begin in the capital. We promise Tbilisi residents and our city’s visitors many celebratory events and unforgettable moments. No one has the right to take away the happiness children get from the streets adorned for the holidays, the beautiful Christmas tree, and the celebrations,” Kaladze said.
He also addressed attempts to disrupt the festivities, prevent children from having fun, and restrict small entrepreneurs from selling their goods or musicians from holding concerts.
“To those who are trying to stop the celebrations, don’t bother, friends. The New Year will come, Tbilisi will be beautiful, and everything will be just great,” he added.
