Transparency International Georgia’s director, Eka Gigauri, declared that the results published by the Central Election Commission (CEC) do not represent the true will of the Georgian people.
Speaking at a briefing, Gigauri asserted that the election was neither free nor fair, claiming state institutions operated in favor of the ruling party, Georgian Dream, without addressing reported violations during the pre-election period and on election day.
“These results are not legitimate,” Gigauri emphasized, pointing to numerous issues and irregularities throughout the electoral process.
Transparency International Georgia maintains that the published results lack credibility and calls for a thorough examination of the alleged violations.
