Trump plans record number of orders and immigration crackdown in first week as president

US President-elect Donald Trump announced plans to sign a “record number” of executive orders during his first week in office. His priorities include addressing illegal immigration and assessing damage from the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

“Deportations will begin very quickly. I won’t specify which cities yet, as the situation is fluid, but you’ll see it unfold. We must expel criminals from our country,” Trump stated.

Regarding the potential ban of TikTok, Trump said he would delay the decision by 90 days after assuming office.

Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States will take place on January 20. Due to severe weather conditions, the ceremony will be held inside the Capitol Rotunda—a first since 1985.
