Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has publicly expressed his admiration for the country’s armed forces, praising their efforts in the ongoing conflict with Russia. Zelensky’s comments came following a detailed report from General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who provided an update on the situation at the front lines.
In his address, Zelensky highlighted the crucial importance of the defense strategies being employed in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove areas. He emphasized the significant role played by Ukrainian troops in repelling Russian attacks and reclaiming positions.
“I am proud of all our soldiers, who, through their actions, are teaching Russia the difference between its own territory and that of its neighbors,” Zelensky stated. “I extend my gratitude to all our units at the front for their unwavering commitment to fulfilling their missions, defending against Russian offensives, and restoring our positions.
