The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian ammunition storage facility in Russia’s Bryansk region, aiming at the Russian Army’s 1,060th logistics support center, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Ukrainian military sources reported at least eight explosions at the site, with signs of multiple fires and secondary detonations observed.
The statement from Ukraine’s General Staff noted, “Observations confirm at least two distinct fire zones within the military unit’s premises, with ongoing secondary detonations. By 6 a.m., a large fire was raging at the Bryansk facility.”
Earlier, Ukrainian drones also reportedly struck a strategic chemical plant in Russia’s Tula region. This facility, which produces munitions and gunpowder for Russia’s defense industry, suffered significant damage, according to Ukrainian sources.
Meanwhile, in Moscow, Ukrainian drones carried out a large-scale assault on the Russian capital early this morning. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that Russian air defenses downed at least 22 drones over the city. Russian officials later claimed to have intercepted a total of 70 Ukrainian drones, with 14 of those downed in Bryansk. These attacks underscore an escalation in Ukrainian strikes on critical Russian military and industrial infrastructure.
