Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed that representatives from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States will gather in London this Wednesday to push forward negotiations aimed at securing an “unconditional ceasefire” in Ukraine.
In a statement posted on X, Zelenskyy described a “good and detailed” conversation with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and underscored the shared commitment of the four nations to work “as constructively as possible” toward lasting peace. “Just as we have done before,” he added, “we are ready to move forward.”
Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to all international partners supporting Ukraine’s peace efforts, emphasizing that the ceasefire must be the first step toward ending the war. He noted that the Easter holiday highlighted how “Russia’s actions are prolonging the conflict.”
The Ukrainian president also said he discussed ongoing cooperation with the UK within European security frameworks, thanking Britain for its continued support.
