Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko has criticized Georgia’s recent parliamentary elections, comparing the process to practices reminiscent of the Soviet Union rather than a democratic European nation. Goncharenko, along with many of his colleagues, voiced doubts about the fairness of the election results.
“What we witnessed cannot be called a fair election. This is my position, and many of my colleagues feel the same. This resembles the Soviet Union, not a democratic European country,” Goncharenko remarked.
