The United States Embassy in Georgia announced on Friday that Ambassador Robin Dunnigan’s meeting with Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili had outlined “top priorities and steps that Georgia can take to demonstrate its seriousness about improving its relationship with the US”.
In a separate statement, the Georgian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the discussions held in Tbilisi focused on enhancing cooperation, with both parties reaffirming their dedication to strengthening bilateral ties “grounded in shared values and interests”.
This comes after the United States suspended its strategic partnership with Georgia last year, following the Georgian Dream government’s decision to delay EU integration until 2028.
