Wizz Air transfers 6 million passengers through Kutaisi International Airport since 2012

Wizz Air on Wednesday said it had reached a significant figure, transferring six million passengers through Kutaisi International Airport since the start of its operations in 2012.

The event was marked by the arrival of a flight from Vienna, carrying Wizz Air’s six millionth passenger. The passenger, 19-year-old Georgian student Anna Machavariani, was recognized upon her arrival.

Irakli Karkashadze, General Director of the Union of Airports, presented Machavariani with a bronze model of Kutaisi International Airport.

Additionally, Wizz Air representatives provided her with a €200 travel voucher, which can be used for any of the airline’s destinations within the next year.
