Ukraine must achieve reliable peace and long-term security solely based on international law, without making any concessions regarding its territories, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasized.
In his statement, Zelenskyy underscored that discussions in the coming days will focus on strengthening Ukraine’s military strategy as part of its victory plan, which could significantly bolster the country’s position.
“The upcoming consultations will involve members of the government, diplomats, and our teams discussing the completion of military points in the victory plan. This approach could rapidly strengthen Ukraine’s front lines. Everything outlined in the plan is entirely realistic for our partners. The world has the resources to advance according to this peace formula,” he stated.
The president highlighted that Ukraine’s peace and security guarantees must adhere strictly to international law, as envisioned in the peace formula.
“This is our goal and our mission – to guarantee Ukraine’s reliable peace and long-term security. This is only possible through international law, without trading sovereignty or territories. This is exactly what the peace formula envisions,” Zelenskyy said.
He stressed that Ukraine seeks real, just, and secure peace, fully protected from future conflicts. However, achieving this is only possible with strong positions and unity between the Ukrainian people and their international partners.
“I thank everyone who supports us and those who, like us, are ready to make the coming week historic in many ways,” the president concluded.
