Georgian Dream MP excuses for swearword, but says addressee “deserved even more”

The Georgian Dream ruling party MP Dimitri Samkharadze, who cursed the participants of Home to Europe rally on July 3 from the party headquarters, excused for doing so to the public, but noted that addressee, referring to former President Mikheil Saakashvili and his United National Movement opposition, “deserved even more.”

 

Samkharadze claimed that Saakashvili aimed to “destroy the country.”

 

Samkharadze posted one of the videos on Facebook himself on Sunday, but deleted it soon after.

 

In the video Samkharadze curses both the participants of the rally and Saakashvili.

 

The ruling party claimed that Saakashvili and his party were behind the Home to Europe movement, aiming to overthrow the authorities.
