Georgia reports 10, 253 Covid cases in a week

Georgia reported 10,253 cases of Coronavirus between  July 18 to July 24.

 

7,508 people recovered from the virus in the reported period, while 74,245 tests were conducted across the country.

 

Despite the surge in new infections Georgia has no plans to impose any restrictions.

 

The Georgian health officials claimed that the majority of patients need no hospital treatment and that the death rate is low.

 

The virus has claimed more than 18,000 lives in Georgia since April 2020.
