Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze told MPs on Friday Georgian citizens would enjoy simplified travel procedures with chips in their passports instead of holograms, and stressed a new, international agreement would be signed with the US that would allow the extradition of convicts and prisoners. 

In his comments, the Minister said the State Services Development Agency had provided the International Civil Aviation Organisation with certificates that proved the authenticity of travel documents, which he said allowed the simplification in procedures. He also noted the agency had become the only one in the South Caucasus region to have certification in line with European Union standards.Bregadze also hailed the Government's efforts last year to create  354,927 addresses and register 580,247 land plots. 

In his comments the official thanked the US for ensuring professional training to 160 employees of his office in the last year.
