1,077 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 31,645 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,727 tests with antigen tests and 10,918 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 1,077 new confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 293,321.
As for the positive rate, as of April 15, the daily rate of positive is 3.4%, for the last 14 days – 2.77%, and for 7 days – 2.04%.
In the last 24 hours, 442 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 279,831.
There have been 8 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,916 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 1,077 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 641 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 97, Imereti – 52, Kvemo Kartli – 44, Shida Kartli – 38, Guria – 27, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 109, Kakheti – 36, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 22, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 5, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 6.
Currently, there are 9,548 active cases of infection, of which: 2,720 people are treated in hospitals, including 1 381 in Tbilisi hospitals, 391 in Adjara, 361 in Imereti. At this stage, 466 people are seriously ill, including 224 in Tbilisi, Adjara. – 67, in Imereti -77. There are 87 people on artificial respiration, of which 62 in Tbilisi, 8 in Adjara, 8 in Imereti. 400 people are placed in clinical hotels, including 209 in Tbilisi and 177 in Adjara. 6,428 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in their homes.
331 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 249 in Tbilisi and 4 in Adjara.
In total, from October 6 to April 15, 24,380 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas. There are 15,263 people in self-isolation at this stage
