Ukraine says Russia lost 1,350 troops in past day as total casualties exceed 1.37mln

Russia has lost an estimated 1,373,620 troops since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including 1,350 casualties over the past 24 hours, according to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The latest battlefield assessment, published on Sunday, puts Russian personnel losses at about 1.37 million killed and wounded since February 2022.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russian forces have also lost 11,989 tanks, including six over the past day, as well as 24,700 armoured combat vehicles and 43,479 artillery systems.
The General Staff said Russia's losses include 1,844 multiple-launch rocket systems and 1,407 air defence systems since the beginning of the war.
Ukraine further reported that Russian forces have lost 334,063 operational and tactical-level drones, including 2,245 during the latest reporting period, along with 4,733 cruise missiles.
According to the update, Russian military losses also include 1,595 ground robotic systems, 4,257 pieces of specialised equipment and 104,051 vehicles and fuel tankers, including 393 destroyed or damaged over the past day.
The reported naval losses remained unchanged at 33 boats and vessels and two submarines, while aircraft and helicopter losses stood at 436 and 353 respectively.
