The International Day for the Protection of Children is celebrated annually on June 1 across many countries worldwide. Established in 1950, the day aims to mobilize global public opinion to protect children from the threat of new wars and to promote their health, democratic upbringing, and development.
This special day also has its own flag, recognized by over 30 countries. The green flag features an image of Earth surrounded by five human figures of different colors, symbolizing unity and diversity.
