Russia lost an estimated 1,190 troops and 100 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, according to the latest update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The body added Russia's total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached about 1,408,340 killed or wounded.
The General Staff estimates Russia's cumulative combat losses as of July 4, 2026, as follows:
Tanks: 12,074 (+1)
Armoured combat vehicles: 24,869 (+6)
Artillery systems: 45,325 (+100)
Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,913 (+1)
Air defence systems: 1,469 (+6)
Aircraft: 436 (+0)
Helicopters: 353 (+0)
Ground robotic systems: 1,815 (+6)
Operational-tactical drones: 389,110 (+1,768)
Cruise missiles: 4,847 (+1)
Warships/light-speed boats: 33 (+0)
Submarines: 2 (+0)
Vehicles and fuel tankers: 115,644 (+407)
