111-year-old Leonila Gvajava, who was infected with Covid-19 and was undertaking treatment at Tbilisi Republican Hospital, has recovered from the virus and will be discharged from hospital later today.

Doctors say she ‘was very motivated’ to defeat the virus and was ‘very obedient’ to them.

They say that Lionela’s 80-year-old daughter was also infected with the virus and was placed for treatment along with her mother.

Doctors say that the condition of the 80-year-old is also stable.
