An electrocution incident claimed the life of a 15-year-old in Tskneti, near Tbilisi, with the law enforcement investigating the fatality.

Initial reports have pointed to renovation works at the site where the minor was killed, but local authorities have rejected the claims.

A 13-year-old was killed in an electrocution incident in Tbilisi’s central Vake park last year, with eight of nine arrested in the case, including the former official in Tbilisi City Hall, were on Monday sentenced to prison on several charges, including official negligence, violation of safety norms and forgery of official documentation.
