Bail set for all eight individuals detained at February 2 protest

The court has granted bail to all eight individuals who were detained on February 2 near Tbilisi Mall on criminal charges.

According to the judge’s ruling, some of the detainees were assigned bail in the amount of 5,000 GEL, while others were granted bail at 3,500 GEL.

The individuals—Gigi Ugulava, Dimitri Bidzinashvili, Irakli Tsignadze, Irakli Tabatadze, Vasil Eliava, Nikoloz Kumsishvili, Aleksandre Gogoladze, and Nikoloz Kutubidze—will be released once the bail payments are made.

The prosecution had filed a motion requesting bail as a preventive measure. The investigation into the case remains ongoing.
