A 21-year-old man, Giorgi Akhalia, was killed in Tbilisi on the night of March 16. According to Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation has been launched under Article 108 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to intentional homicide. Authorities state that investigative actions are ongoing.

Reports indicate that Akhalia was fatally stabbed following an altercation that began inside a bar and escalated onto the street. He was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Social media posts suggest that Akhalia was a boxer. Tragically, he was killed on the day of his 21st birthday.
