228 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia, 425 people recovered

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 9,211 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 4,121 tests with antigen tests and 5,090 PCR tests.
Testing revealed 228 newly confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 284,061.
As for the positive rate, as of April 4, the daily rate of positive is 2.48%, for the last 14 days – 1.85%, and for 7 days – 2.10%.
In the last 24 hours, 425 people have recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered has increased to 275,024.
11 new deaths from coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,822 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 228 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 111 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 16, Imereti – 19, Kvemo Kartli – 5, Shida Kartli – 17, Guria – 20, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 20, Kakheti – 5, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 6, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 4, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 5.
Currently, there are 5,189 active cases of infection, of which: 1,876 people are treated in hospitals, including 879 in Tbilisi hospitals, 293 in Adjara, 303 in Imereti. At this stage, 364 people are seriously ill, including 165 in Tbilisi and Adjara. 45, in Imereti -77. There are 69 people on artificial respiration, 47 of them in Tbilisi, 3 in Adjara, 6 in Imereti. 218 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 128 in Tbilisi and 85 in Adjara. 3,095 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in the apartment.
219 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 98 in Tbilisi and 10 in Adjara.
A total of 24,003 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6 to April 4.
At this stage, 9 688 people are in self-isolation, including 4 125 people in Tbilisi, 1 226 in Adjara, 1 012 in Imereti.
