3.5 million eligible voters registered for October 26 elections

Georgia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has confirmed 3,508,294 eligible voters for the upcoming general elections on October 26. The finalized voter list includes 3,113,747 citizens who will use electronic voting methods, while 135,922 first-time voters will participate.

CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani also noted that 64,238 individuals have requested transfer boxes to vote from their current locations, and 95,910 voters are registered in special lists for polling stations abroad.

Voting will take place at 3,111 polling stations, with 3,044 in Georgia, including 13 special stations in penitentiary facilities and a mental health center. Overseas voting will be available at 67 polling stations in 42 countries.

The finalized list is accessible to political parties and election monitoring organizations as per legal requirements.
