3,780 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 41 907 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 25 167 tests with antigen tests and 16 740 PCR tests. The tests revealed 3 780 confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours.

 

The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 440 353.As for the positive rate, as of August 5, the daily rate of positive is 9.02%, for the last 14 days – 8.05% and for 7 days – 8.98%. 

 

In the last 24 hours, 2 052 people have recovered from the virus, and the total number of people who have recovered has risen to 395 505.

 

There have been 30 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 6 016 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

 Out of 3,780 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 1 640 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 628, Imereti – 395, Kvemo Kartli – 170, Shida Kartli – 172, Guria – 70, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 199, Kakheti – 299, Mtskheta- Mtianeti-102, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 84, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 21.
